Currency$hift, LLC is an outlet for the First, Only, and Disruptive (F.O.D’s) to share how bringing their experience to a majority table helped to ameliorate how a company or community functions. F.O.D’s discuss how they use their social currency to have an impact and become influential within their company or community. We have all heard the phrase, “your network is your net worth,” but Brittany has taken it to the next level by incorporating how social media plays a role in that, and that is called your social currency.
Before the launch party, Brittany began recording and filming Season 1 in August 2018 at Gotham Podcast Studios in Tribeca, NYC and has a total of 10 episodes which will be released every Wednesday for the next 10 weeks! The first one featuring Food Blogger, Dominek Tubbs at Dom N’ the City, is ready to be heard on Wednesday, Nov 7th, 2018 via all podcast streaming services including iTunes & Spotify. Her guests derive from diverse backgrounds stemming from sales, event management, recruitment services, as well as food and lifestyle bloggers, such as myself. The atmosphere within the studio is relaxing as she provides some liquid courage to her guests by kicking off each episode with a champagne toast – it is truly an amazing experience!
Observing Brittany create the concept of her business on paper, and witnessing what it has become today, has truly been an inspirational sight to see. This was a passion project which began in March 2018 and was birthed completely on November 7th, 2018. Brittany showed perseverance, grit, determination, and passion through every season of this project and not once complained about any challenges that came her way. The end result was a launch party that myself along with my friends at Curated Vibes Group was able to help her execute in the best way possible. By sharing snippets of the podcast being recorded with the attendees of the party, really excited them for what’s to come, and so far, Brittany and Currency$hift have received great feedback from her peers via her social media promotional efforts. I can talk about this podcast all day, but it is better to take a look and listen for yourself!
